Studio

My studio is a 3 story log building, customized to fit the needs of a photography business.  It’s situated on a hillside on my 20 acre “mini-farm”, and features an expansive shooting area, with a 26 ft. cathedral ceiling.

A wheelchair ramp and double doors offer excellent access for handicap needs or large products (such as the interior of a large truck, photographed recently!).

The dressing room has two mirrored makeup stations, and my digital darkroom is complete with the latest technology, including an archival printer capable of creating 16X20 prints.

The consultation area employs digital audio-visual projection, or we may prefer to talk in rockers on the front porch!

The outdoor area offers a beautiful natural backdrop, when weather allows,  (and kids love the opportunity to pet the horses, which has proven to be a wonderful reward for a cooperative session!).

Hints:

  • I suggest that you bring “casual” (what you wear daily), as well as a dressed-up look.
  • For teen and senior girls, it might be nice to consider changing your hair during the session to add to the variety of looks we can achieve.
